The Anna Maria Island Preservation Trust has determined the Sandbar Restaurant meets requirements to be included in the Florida Master Site File as an historic landmark. The age and significance of the building has been verified verified, and the structure has been recorded as historic in Tallahassee The Sandbar now has a plaque denoting it’s historic status.
