Washington Post Travel Section features Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key

November 9, 2009

The November 8th Issue of the Washington Post’s Travel Section brought attention to the myriad Islands of the Gulf Coast of Florida. Andrea Sachs writes, “The structures, natural environments, amenities, mind-sets and even sand compositions varied remarkably, creating islands with unique, identifiable characters.” Anna Maria Island was labeled “Low-key and all-natural”. The beachfront Sandbar Restaurant was listed as a place to eat on Anna Maria Island, it’s the Gulf views, sunsets and Fresh Florida Seafood that make our restaurant unique.
