The Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival, to be held on February 28, 2010, is right around the corner. With more than 80 wedding vendors at 14 different locations along Island, this year’s wedding festival is certain to be another success. Be sure and stop by the BeachHouse Restaurant for a pre-event Brunch from 9-11am. You can park your car at the public beach just south of the BeachHouse, and after the brunch take the complimentary trolleys and limos to the Chamber for check-in. After the Sunset Celebration Finale at the Sandbar Restaurant, you will be returned to your vehicle.
At the Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival you, your partner, and your family and friends will experience firsthand what a wedding on Anna Maria Island would be like. See for yourselves why Anna Maria Island has is being hailed as Florida’s #1 Wedding Destination! Tour honeymoon suites and accommodations, visit wedding ceremony and receptions sites, and talk with photographers, DJs and musicians, caterers, florists, hair and make-up artists, and more. All registrants who visit at least 10 of the 14 vendor host sites will be automatically entered into prize drawings worth over $10,000. You can also see a special wedding day fashion show. The Anna Maria Island Community Center will host the special Groom’s Only Zone. Sponsored by Budweiser, featuring food, beer and fun for the guys with a Corn Toss, Wii, and Foosball, as well as Guy-Friendly wedding information regarding bachelor party locations, Party Bus activities, fishing charters, and parasailing.
At 5:00pm the Sunset Celebration Finale will take place at the Sandbar Restaurant, where after a mock wedding on the beach, prizes will be awarded, and you can share in a champagne toast to the end of what is sure to be a fabulous day!
