Sandbar Sangria Takes 1st Place!

The Sandbar's Sangria is now an award winner, trophy and all! Over 200 people voted our Sangria as their top choice in the White Sangria category at the inaugural Sangria Showdown! There was some tough competition with 10 local competitors bringing their best to be sampled by over 200 attendees and celebrity judges. Sandbar manager, Cheryl Scranton has been making the now famous wine based libation for a few years. It has been a favorite with our guests and part of our Sunday Brunch menu as well as available for lunch and dinner. Made with locally grown, fresh fruit and the Riesling varietal of our signature wine brand, Lola, our Sangria is refreshing and delicious. Winemaker, Seth Cripe, produces the wine in Napa. Lola produces the Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, Pinot Noir North Coast, Chardonnay Sonoma Coast, and a Riesling as well as two other brands - Supere Au De Sparkling and Supere Au De Rose.
