Through the generous efforts of our guests and hard work of our staff we were able to donate $500 towards the Dine Out for Orlando fundraising effort. The money collected was from 10% of our wine sales for June 30th.
Chiles Group Takes Part in FRLA’s State Wide Dine Out for Orlando Effort on June 3o
The Chiles Restaurant Group will be joining hundreds of Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association members throughout the state of Florida in the effort to raise funds for the victims and victim’s families of the Orlando shooting.
The fundraiser, led by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in partnership with VISIT FLORIDA. Dine Out for Orlando United will be a day for Florida restaurants, their employees and guests to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the tragedy. All proceeds raised will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund, which is designed to provide a way to respond to the needs of the local community, now and in the time to come. We encourage everyone to get involved.
The FRLA has designated Thursday, June 30 as the day for the fundraiser. As a long-time member of the FRLA, The Chiles Group of Restaurants consisting of The Sandbar in Anna Maria, the Beach House in Bradenton Beach and the Mar Vista Dockside on the north end of Longboat Key will be donating 10% from all wine sales to the effort to help surviving victims and victim’s families of the Orlando nightclub shooting.
As a company, we wanted to do something to show our support to the victims and their families. The collective effort of the FRLA is the perfect vehicle for us to contribute to the efforts. We are honored and humbled to help in this way. Ten percent of all wine sales from lunch and dinner from all three of our restaurants will be donated to the cause! We hope that in some small way our participation will help with the healing for those affected by this tragedy.
The purpose of the OneOrlando Fund is to provide a way to help respond to the needs of our community, now and in the time to come, after the effects of the Pulse tragedy.
The distribution of the funds will be administered by the Central Florida Foundation. The Foundation serves as the region’s community foundation and is home to more than 400 charitable funds.
